Yamazakura Peated Blended Whisky it's a whisky originating from Japan and produced by the Sasanokawa Shuzo distillery, a plant that has been operating since 1765 and for some time has also been responsible for some brands of whisky, including this Yamazakura. The word Yamazakura derives from the union of two terms that mean Mountain and Cherry trees, to indicate the uncontaminated nature in which the distillery operates: we are in Koriyama and here the distillation began shortly after the Second World War to give "support" to the American troops remained in Japan as a deterrent after the defeat in the world war. Since then distillation in Yamazakura has evolved and today it can count on top quality products, without fear of comparisons with foreign countries.
