Aberfeldy 16 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a single malt whisky Scottish produced by the Aberfeldy distillery and with a rather pronounced aging in wood. Aberfeldy is a historic distillery over a century old having been founded in 1898 in Pertshire, in the Highlands, and has always been known for its whisky elegant and refined, thanks also to an abundant fermentation time of over seventy hours which facilitates these characteristics. The characteristics of the whisky of Aberfeldy are linked to fruity, gentle and elegant notes with the classic intensity of the Highlands, come on whisky personal and profound. In this sense, the refinement of over sixteen years serves to smooth out the roughness of the initial spirit and over the years the fruity and sweet, rounded sensations expand, which caress the palate and which give true satisfaction to those who approach this whisky. The refinement is managed for the first part in oak barrels which previously contained American bourbon before a final period in European oak barrels which contained Spanish sherry. This double maturation allows the whisky to obtain taste-olfactory breadth, creating a whisky for true enthusiasts, able to express themselves in breadth like few others.
