Ardnamurchan AD/04.21:03 is not a whisky like all the others but comes from a distillery that has chosen a particular philosophy capable of enhancing the artisanal nature of the distillation process and also of the raw materials, which can vary from batch to batch. Ardnamurchan is in fact a small Scottish distillery in the Highlands that thinks in terms of batches, i.e. the union of small quantities of barrels with different characteristics to always create new whisky to offer to consumers, without fossilising on a single style or a refinement of a precise number of years, as often happens in other companies.

This Ardnamurchan AD/04.21:03 is the third batch of 2021 and was created in April of the same year, combining in equal parts whisky peat and whisky unpeated with 65% aging in ex bourbon oak barrels and the remaining 35% in barrels that previously contained sherry. For further respect for tradition the whisky it is not cold filtered and is practically exactly as it comes out of the barrels, except for a small addition of pure water to lower the alcohol content.

TASTE: intense and smoky, spicy notes of saffron and black pepper, cereals, ripe fruit and cocoa beans
