Arran 18 Year Old is one of the new ones whisky most appreciated by true malt distillate connoisseurs: despite being offered for the first time only in 2016, in just a few years Arran 18 Year Old has built up a loyal following thanks to the excellence with which the whisky reaches quite high levels.

The Arran distillery is a small miracle in itself, as no one had dared to build a distillery on the Isle of Arran, Scotland, for many years, until in 1995 the project ended and Arran began distilling. at a continuous pace. Today the distillery represents excellence both on basic line products and on special and limited barrels, all under the watchful eye of James MacTaggart, the production manager. This Arran 18 Year Old ages for at least 18 years in a mix of ex Bourbon and ex Sherry barrels, then certifying a successful marriage.

TASTE: Good intensity with fruity and delicately spiced notes, dried fruit and dark chocolate.

AGING: American oak ex Bourbon barrels and European oak ex Sherry barrels.
