The Ardmore distillery is not well known in Italy - but also in the world - because the production has always been oriented towards creating whisky destined for the world of blends, limiting the bottlings of Ardmore available on the market to a few dozen, and even fewer the official bottlings of the distillery. Ardmore was founded in 1896 by Alexander Edwards, a distinguished figure in the world of whisky at the turn of the 1800s and 1900s for the participation in various distilleries and the construction of some that still resist today. Edwards' foresight set an example for other entrepreneurs, leaving behind an important legacy that continues today with this bottle: a whisky aged for 21 years in ex bourbon oak and with a limited edition, to maintain the characteristics of rarity that bottles of this kind always carry with them.
