Whisky Bellevoye Blue
700ml BOTTLE
Bellevoye Blue is one of the references of Bellevoye, a French brand responsible for a new way of understanding the whisky. Founded by Jean Moueix – coming from the dynasty that owns Chateau Petrus – and Alexandre Sirech, Bellevoye is a brand that selects and combines whisky from every corner of France, trying to obtain products recognizable as 100% French, to shake up the distillation of cereals, which in France is not exactly a priority. Not wanting to open a new distillery, the two businessmen preferred to select and combine whisky already existing, but giving a final touch to add personality and recognition.
In this case with Bellevoye Blue it comes from unspecified French distilleries and undergoes a first refinement of at least three years in French oak barrels, before a final refinement of about a year in new French oak barrels, with a very fine grain and carbonized with a patented process.
TASTE: Soft and elegant, intense floral notes, then spices and dried fruit.
AGING: French oak barrels.
