Benrinnes 10 Year Old Adelphi Selection Whisky is a particular and rare selection by Adelphi, an independent bottler responsible for many great bottlings. Having the opportunity to get their hands on many barrels from many Scottish and non-Scottish distilleries, Adelphi can select only the best barrels with extreme care, managing to follow a quality path that is difficult to achieve today. In this case the selection fell on a single cask of Benrinnes – number 305246 – filled in 2011 and bottled in 2021. The cask is a single cask of European oak which previously contained Oloroso sherry and the alcohol content was kept unchanged to give the opportunity to taste this great distillery in purity, little known but capable of great ones whisky.

TASTE: intense and spicy, ripe red fruit, cocoa powder, ancient wood and black pepper
