Using the best natural ingredients, the Benromach distillers coordinate every single moment of the distillation process, each barrel is filled, weighed and manually marked before being stored for many years in the traditional "dunnage" warehouses for the maturation phase. Aged 10 years in barrels for 80% Bourbon and 20% Sherry, with an additional maturation of one year, before bottling, in Oloroso Sherry barrels.
Without any delay, Benromach has become one of the distilleries that has been able to renew itself better in this historical moment in which the whisky is in demand and the offer is wide and varied. To try to emerge, you need to get busy both in the production part and in the communication section, aiming for a winning packaging but at the high quality of the spirit contained in the bottle, as this Benromach 10 Year Old testifies without delay.
TASTE
Soft notes of malted cereals and fruit, combined with caramel and a touch of black cherry. In the full-bodied finish there is a soft smoke and more malted cereals.
AGING
First-fill American oak ex Bourbon barrels and European oak ex Sherry barrels.
