This Tasting Set from the young London distillery Bimber was created specifically to introduce the different characters of theirs whisky products.

Bimber New Make Spirit Batch No. 145 is an unaged Single Malt with an alcohol content of 60% vol. On the nose you can perceive white pulp fruit combined with caramel cake; while on the palate it is complex, but at the same time round and harmonious. In the finish there are malty and sugary notes.

Peated New Make Spirit Batch No. 140 is an unaged peaty Single Malt with an alcohol content of 60% vol. Herbaceous and peaty notes are perceived on the nose; on the palate there are notes of aromatic herbs, peat smoke and citrus fruits. The finish is resinous, warm and fruity.

Re-Charred Cask Batch No. 001 is a Single Malt aged 3 years in re-charred barrels and bottled at an alcoholic strength of 51.9% vol. The nose is spicy, woody and vanilla; the notes we perceive on the palate are fresh and herbaceous while the spicy and vanilla notes return to the finish. 

Ex - Sherry Cask Batch No. 001 is a Single Malt aged 3 years in ex Sherry European oak barrels and released at an alcoholic strength of 51.9% vol. On the nose we perceive aromas of raisins and burnt bread, on the palate notes of dried fruit and leather combined with a spicy character. In the finish we perceive the rich, warm and complex product.

Ex - Bourbon Cask Batch No. 001 is a Single Malt aged 3 years in American ex Bourbon oak barrels and bottled at an alcoholic strength of 51.2% vol. On the nose there are hints of peanut butter and creamy notes; while on the palate notes of pastry and exotic fruit. In the finish we perceive spices, wood and smoke.

Virgin American Oak Cask Batch No. 001 is a Single Malt aged 3 years in virgin oak barrels with an alcohol content of 53.1% vol. The nose presents concentrated notes of vanilla and chocolate; dried fruit and candied tropical fruit are the masters on the palate while the finish is so complex and slightly smoky.
