Chocolate Malt Holyrood Distillery is a white spirit - not legally recognizable as whisky not having aged for at least three years - which the Holyrood distillery has put on the market to start making people talk about itself and to put the first flags in history. Holyrood was in fact born as a gin distillery whisky in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, from a shared passion to some friends, friends who have thought long and hard about how to give a real vision to their dreams. No sooner said than done: Holyrood opened its gates recently and just as recently began distilling, leaving room for various experiments and the common vision of the work team. With Chocolate Malt Holyrood Distillery we are talking about a particular malt - Chocolate - often used as a mashbill in the recipes of typically English Porter and Stout style beers: a malt that gives toasted hints, with dark and cocoa notes. Chocolate Malt Holyrood Distillery is one of the examples that Holyrood has decided to present to the world to begin to be seen and to be followed for the whisky that will come.
