Bowmore 10 Year Old Dark & ​​Intense (1L) is a particular edition of Bowmore specifically designed for the Travel Retail circuit (i.e. airport Duty Free) and has only recently been available on the generalist market. This bottle comes from one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, namely Bowmore which has been active on the Isle of Islay since 1779 with a wall of one of the warehouses directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and one of the most evocative tasting rooms in all of Scotland.

This whisky in particular, it ages for ten years in two types of oak barrels, namely the traditional hogshead and the traditional oak barrel in the past which previously contained Spanish sherry, of different sizes and at a higher cost. The ingredient is certainly the whisky of intense Bowmore character combined with the ex sherry cask with its power to add infinite nuances to the distillate it contains.

TASTE: intense and salty with citrus fruits, dried fruit, cocoa, peat and black pepper
