Whisky Bunnahabhain 2014 Duncan Taylor The Octave

The Duncan Taylor company has been experimenting with new maturation techniques for its wines for more than forty years whisky. The search for perfection has led them to understand that for certain whisky they need smaller barrels to concentrate all the characteristics of the distillate. Thus was born The Octave line where the distillate forms a strong relationship with the wood of the barrels, which, in a short time, allow a perfect combination of alcohol and air, creating the harmony and great balance that Duncan Taylor necessarily wants for his whisky.
The company has always chosen gods whisky very particular and limited edition, in this case it is the Bunnahabhain 2014. After an initial refinement in Hogshead casks for a period of 7 years, it is enhanced thanks to a final maturation in restored Octave ex-Sherry casks.
