Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old is the flagship malt of this large distillery which overlooks a bay on the island of Islay, slightly away from the other giants and with a well-defined character. Instead of seeking intense peat and the marine part taking the lion's share, Bunnahabhain has focused on a substantial elegance which certainly incorporates island elements but which frame the high quality of the whisky of the distillery. This Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old is an absolute rarity because it is difficult to find today whisky refined for over two decades, there being a great demand for whisky of quality and therefore being able to count on increasingly empty warehouses and with the will of very few to push the refinements to significant figures of years. Today Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old is a clear commitment from the distillery to deliver to its fans a whisky of Islay with an important maturity, capable of revealing sides never before revealed to those who are used to tasting whisky Young people.
