In fact, Diageo owns about thirty distilleries in Scotland and every year selects about ten bottlings to give prestige to some names and present whisky different from the usual, with important refinements in terms of time or peculiar refinements in non-traditional barrels. With this Cardhu 16 Year Old Special Release 2022 The Hidden Paradise Of Black Rock it was decided to offer a whisky aged for over sixteen years of which the last part takes place in barrels that previously contained Jamaican Rum from Pot Still, a type of alembic.
