Caroni 23 Year Old Sherry Finish Rum Nation is a rare and limited edition of the Distillate par excellence of the island of Trinidad distilled in 1998 and bottled after 23 years of evolution. With a maturation in the first years in American oak barrels in a tropical climate it acquires intriguing and complex characteristics such as strong tannic notes, evolved and ethereal scents. To make this distillate softer, a second maturation is carried out in ex Sherry Oloroso barrels. These last seven years of refinement determine incomparable characteristics; patisserie notes alternate with harder notes such as spices and coffee. An unconventional Rum with an unconventional taste and a greedy and intriguing level of flavor.

TASTE: Powerful and woody, succulent, creamy, spicy. In the finish it is warm, persistent and notable notes of candied citrus

AGING: First aging in American oak barrels and further aging in ex Sherry Oloroso oak barrels.
