Compass Box The Circle Release No.1 is the first release of this special blended Compass box, created for a special occasion: in 2018 Rosey Mitchell – barlady – won the first edition of The Circle, a competition created by Compass Box for to involve bartenders from all over the world and to put themselves to the test with Compass Box products. Rosey received as a reward the possibility of creating his own blended malt - according to his own tastes and to facilitate mixing - by choosing a whisky finish suitable both for carefree consumption in company and to make the most of the creation of imaginative cocktails. Compass Box is a company that has always been involved in the selection of casks whisky from various distilleries and in the most sought-after blended, or in the mixing of whisky different to give life to unique products and whose result exceeds the simple sum of the parts. In this case Rosey and John Glaser – founder of Compass Box – have studied a mixture of whisky Tamdhu and small percentages of Highland Park, Clynelish and Compass Box's famous Highland Malt from the secret recipe.

TASTE: Definitely spicy with herbaceous and wood notes, dried fruit

AGING: First-fill American oak ex Bourbon barrels, refill ex Sherry barrels, American reconditioned oak barrels and French oak barrels.
