Whisky Craigellachie 13 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a whisky coming from a distillery not well known in the world because since the beginning of its glorious history it has contributed to supplying raw material for many blended wines, limiting the Craigellachie branded bottlings available on the market to a few dozen. Recently Bacardi Martini - the company that owns the distillery - decided to do justice to the quality of Craigellachie's distillate and introduced a core-range with bottles with an age statement, among which this 13 year old, a 17 year old and a 21 year old stand out. Years. Craigellachie was founded in 1891 near the confluence of the Spey and Fiddich rivers, evocative names of the Speyside area, and being able to count on the river trade, the distillery had great success right from the beginning of history, expanding production up to the current 3,6, XNUMX million liters of distillate per year. After a not very positive period in the second half of the twentieth century, Diageo sold the distillery to Bacardi Martini which is exploiting its capabilities for the various blended wines offered by the multinational, without forgetting to give fans of the purest Single Malt something to enjoy.
