700ml BOTTLE
Crown Royal Fine De Luxe is certainly one of the whisky the best known and most iconic Canadians on the market, thanks to the peculiar shape of the bottle which suggests, as the name suggests, a royal crown: it is impossible not to notice this bottle in any bar or restaurant where this bottle is available. Canada has an interesting history in the field of distillation, thanks to the "thirst" of its neighbors in the United States, especially between 1919 and 1930, the period of Prohibition: in those years, in fact, in addition to sourcing distillates from Europe, the Americans had formed several alliances with Canadian distillers, giving impetus to several distilleries, some of which are still active today.
From this derives the fame of some bottles including this Crown Royal Fine De Luxe, created in 1939 to celebrate the first official trip to Canada of King George IV and Queen Elizabeth: since 1964 this precious recipe has been liberalized to the public, while before the mixture was intended for the royal family. The Canadian recipe calls for a blend of cereals and careful aging in oak barrels, for a whisky which cannot leave you unsatisfied.
TASTE: Notes of biscuits and cereals, toasted hints, cocoa beans and spices.
