Whisky Dalmore King Alexander III
700ml BOTTLE
Dalmore King Alexander III represents the pinnacle of the regular production of Dalmore, one of the best known distilleries in Scotland, especially among lovers of luxury. The Dalmore has established itself in recent decades as one of the most sought-after distilleries thanks to a high palatability for collectors: the limited edition releases of The Dalmore come at exorbitant prices for the unique characteristics they represent in terms of refinement, to which combines a unique and high-impact packaging.
Dalmore King Alexander III is certainly no less: it is a whisky without age declaration selected by the legendary master distiller Richard Patterson "the nose": Richard himself supervised the refinement of this whisky which, after an initial moment in bourbon, followed six different final aging in ex bourbon oak barrels, Oloroso, Sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Porto and Cabernet Sauvignon. An important complexity of woods to give a unique touch to this bottle, renamed in honor of King Alexander III, king of Scotland from 1249 to 1286.
TASTE: Graceful and elegant with spicy and fruity notes, then cocoa and coffee powder, wood and jam to finish.
AGING: Ex Bourbon oak barrels, Sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Porto and Cabernet Sauvignon wine.
