Family run business that produces whisky scotch, gin and rum. The range of whisky is very broad, including The Octave, Black Bull, Dimensions and the Blended Politician.
Initially in 1938 the company was located in Glasgow and traded casks, supplying only the best casks to the main Scottish distilleries was the most important goal for the company.
In 2002 Duncan Taylor moved its headquarters to Huntly in Speyside, where it owns barrel storage, bottling and barrel building facilities. He begins to devote himself to the production and sale of his own brands.
Today the company owns one of the largest private collections of some of the whisky rarest and most sought after in the world, managing to satisfy all tastes, having a wide choice of products available including single malt, single grain, blended malt and blended whisky, all bottled by Duncan Taylor.
The Octave Premium range was launched in 2019 and covers i whisky from Scotland's most iconic distilleries matured in Sherry casks, with the aim of intensifying the aromatic profile and new flavours.
In the Octave i range whisky they mature in smaller barrels so as to broaden the aromatic profile. THE whisky come from the Aultmore, Bhunnahabhain, Brackla, Caol Ila, Glenallachie, Glen Moray, Miltonduff and Tobermory distilleries.
