Elements Of Islay Torba
BOTTLE NOT CARTONED 500ml
Elements Of Islay Torba is a whisky very special for various reasons: first of all it comes from the island of Islay, the homeland of whisky peated, and this is also clear from the name. Peat is the main ingredient of this whisky, whisky selected by a great expert namely Sukhinder Singh, unknown to most but one of the main architects of the explosive growth of whisky globally over the last three decades. Sukhinder inherited the small liquor shop in London and in a short time set up an online sales structure that is now the first in the world, then being able to get his hands (and nose) on some of the best barrels of whisky in the world, including barrels from distilleries on the island of Islay. The Elements of Islay series includes all nine (now ten and maybe eleven) whisky produced on Islay, with the particularity of the half-litre format and full alcohol content, playing as a reference to the periodic table of the elements. This Elements Of Islay Torba is not a whisky like the others in the series but it was created to celebrate seventy years of history of Velier, the company that imports and markets the Elements of Islay. A whisky full proof and with unique characteristics, the result of the union of malts from undeclared distilleries.
