Whisky Glenandrew Highland Single Malt
700ml BOTTLE
Glenandrew Highland Single Malt is a Scottish single malt produced by an unknown distillery in Scotland, knowing however that the whisky content comes from the Highlands area, the largest geographically speaking and also one of the most productive together with Speyside, an area surrounded by the Highlands.
The Glenandrew brand is owned by Brian Cook and his company The Vintage Malt Whisky Company whose purpose is to find and market barrels of whisky coming from the few remaining Scottish distilleries owned by families and not by entrepreneurial groups as happens in most cases. Just to give way to this small number of independent distilleries, Brian Cook has set up a system of selecting the best barrels to then give way to bottle and taste these particular malts. Based only on the label we can trace the Elgin area, a privileged pheasant hunting area.
TASTE: Light and elegant with spicy notes and custard, honey and white pepper.
AGING: Oak barrels.
