CARTONED BOTTLE 700ml - GlenDronach Port Wood is a Single Malt with no age indication, which is first matured in ex Sherry PX and Oloroso casks, subsequently aged in casks that have contained Port, coming from the Duoro valley in Portugal. Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced in the Highland region by GlenDroach, initially matured in ex Sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez barrels and aged for 3 years in Port Pipe (barrels that have contained Port wine), for a total of 10 years of aging. It is bottled at an alcohol content of 46% vol, without cold filtration or the addition of colourings.
TASTE: Rich and fruity, notes of blackberries, apple crumble and freshly baked gingerbread; persistent finish with orange peel, sultanas and cherry pie.
AGING: Oak barrels ex Sherry Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez and barrels ex Porto.
