Glenfarclas 185th Anniversary is a celebratory bottle that honors the 185-year history of the Glenfarclas distillery, one of the best known in the Highlands with an important legacy both in terms of the core range and for what are considered family jewels, i.e. the various Single Casks that are released regularly even with very important aging. The distillery was founded (at least legally) in 1836 by Robert Hay, the first of a long history that has seen the succession of various properties with a single purpose, that is to deliver the world's own whisky from the important refinement and often in ex sherry casks, maintaining a tradition that has distinguished the whisky Scottish at least until the second half of the twentieth century. This Glenfarclas 185th Anniversary was created by combining casks of various ages but with at least one cask for each of the last six decades, limited edition of 6000 bottles for the whole world.
