Whisky Glenfiddich Grand Cru Cuvee 23 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
Glenfiddich Grand Cru Cuvee 23 Year Old is the youngest whisky of the triptych that makes up the Glenfiddich Grand Series, a trio of whisky exclusive products dedicated to the Grant family and to the corporate enterprise that began many years ago, in 1887. Since then the Grant family and the distilleries of the group have made many steps forward, especially Glenfiddich which has been able to establish itself on the global market with the classic 12 Years from the green and triangular bottle: who can say that they have never seen it in large retailers or in some club, bar or pub or restaurant? Impossible.
Despite being the youngest of the trio, this Glenfiddich Grand Cru Cuvee 23 Year Old has a full 23 years of aging spent in a mix of ex Sherry and ex Bourbon oak barrels before a final four-month passage in barrels that previously contained wine suitable for becoming champagne. The concept of Cuvée is French matter, in this case also imported to Scotland for this magic Scotch.
TASTE: Discreetly intense, spices and ripe fruit, citrus and cereals.
AGING: American oak barrels, European oak barrels and former French Cuvée oak barrels.
