Glentauchers from 2008 released in 2019 as an exclusive for the Italian distributor Compagnia dei Caribbean. Made in the Speyside area this whisky Single Cask is aged for 10 years in an American oak barrel and aged for the last seven months in an Octave ex Sherry oak barrel; only 101 bottles were released.

Duncan Taylor's goal is to select whisky unique to be put on the market often as a single cask, i.e. without joining several casks as happens in most cases. The products of the "The Octave" range are aged in smaller casks, called Octave Cask, which represents 1/8 of the size of a standard cask and contains about 50 liters of whisky without however masking its character, creating a more complex and audacious spirit.

TASTE: Citrus notes of lemon, pear juice and fruit salad combined with white chocolate. In the finish there are notes of menthol, lemongrass, ginger and bitter chocolate combined with almonds.

AGING: American oak barrels and Octave barrels of European oak ex Sherry.
