700ml BOTTLE
Glenturret 7 Year Old Peat Smoked is one of the few whisky sourced from Glenturret distillery to be peated, a rarity which adds to the often high quality of this distillery. Glenturret was born in 1775 but for the first period of history it remained illegal to avoid paying excise duties to the British government. In 1837 Glenturret became a legal distillery and in 1875 it took its current name while always remaining in the shadows, with rare bottlings preferring the production to give body and volume to various Scottish blends. For some years the ownership has decided to focus on single malt and has begun to renew the aesthetic part of the bottle which today appears contemporary, also being able to count on an important quality for a now historic distillery in the Highlands. This Glenturret 10 Year Old Peat Smoked is aged for at least seven years in American oak barrels that previously contained sherry and the alcohol content is 44%.
TASTE: intense and peaty, of iodine and wildflower honey, dried fruit
