Loch Lomond is a Scottish distillery responsible for various products, also by virtue of the number of different stills that the distillery has: a great advantage that has allowed Loch Lomond to adapt to the global needs of whisky, going to create products of various kinds for various needs. In addition to this, the distillery manages to produce simultaneously whisky of wheat and whisky of malt: at first the whisky of wheat was predominant due to the possibility of selling it to other companies for the production of blended products whisky, but the situation has changed for a few decades, also allowing the production of whisky of barley, today more requested by the public of enthusiasts.
Alongside this production, Loch Lomond has begun to create blended wines whisky with its own brand on the label, among which this High Commissioner stands out: the proportions between whisky of wheat and whisky of malt are not known, just as the age of aging is not disclosed.
