Highland Queen 12 Year Old is a whisky Scotch obtained from the mixture - from the blend - of some barrels from different distilleries in the Highlands. Until a few decades ago the whisky Scotch wine sold almost entirely through this shape, or rather the union of different barrels to give way to the individual peculiarities to express themselves at their best in the orchestra and not as a soloist, for a consumption attentive to softness and palatal enveloping. This Highland Queen 12 Year Old takes its name from Queen Mary of Scots, Queen of Scots from 1561 to 1587 until she was deposed and subsequently executed by Elizabeth I, Queen of England. The formula has remained unchanged for over a century, namely the careful selection of barrels aged for at least twelve years and the subsequent blend with the care and attention that only many years of experience can guarantee. A whisky elegant and refined, full of nuances to discover, sip after sip.

TASTE: elegant and spicy, of fresh flowers, ripe fruit and nuts, bitter cocoa and chestnut honey

AGING: in oak barrels
