Whisky Inchgower 27 Year Old Special Release 2018
700ml BOTTLE
Inchgower 27 Year Old Special Release 2018 is another precious release of Diageo's Special Releases, a unique way to approach the distilleries of the beverage multinational with releases limited in the number of bottles available and with unique characteristics, including the choice not to dilute with water and maintain the barrel strength. This Inchgower comes from a Scottish distillery not among the best known, yet with a long and glorious history: the distillery was founded as far back as 1871 and has since changed several owners, adapting to produce what the market required, like most of Scottish distilleries.
Since 1987 Inchgower has been owned by Diageo, with the majority of the over two million liters produced annually going to blended whisky and a small percentage intended for lovers of pure distillate, often only through independent bottlers. This Inchgower remained 27 years in American oak barrels from which 8544 bottles were originated.
TASTE: Intense, with important spicy notes, caramel and honey, vanilla and milk chocolate, dried fruit and orange peel.
