Alistair has decided to lead a difficult life and is selecting barrels from second-rate distilleries, often snubbed by most, with an equally imaginative refinement, using unusual woods precisely to give his own vision of the world of whisky contemporary. We have always believed in Alistair's abilities because he has always shown himself capable of selecting high quality barrels, managing to best combine the spirit of the distillery with the refinement in particular woods, without losing recognisability. The choice to select single barrels and maintain the cask strength must be rewarded: a range full of emotions for those who don't want to stop searching, studying, studying, enjoying.
