Whisky Infrequent Flyers Miltonduff 11 Year Old Cask 6341
700ml BOTTLE
Infrequent Flyers Miltonduff 11 Year Old Cask 6341 is a whisky one of a kind because it comes from a tiny batch of bottles from a single barrel, to be precise number 6341 filled with white spirit in 2009 and emptied in 2021 to give life to 646 bottles, a very low number. In addition to these technical notes, this Infrequent Flyers Miltonduff 11 Year Old Cask 6341 was selected by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers line, a line dedicated to lesser known yet enormously valuable Scottish distilleries, just like Miltonduff. The cask is a Sherry Puncheon which previously contained Pedro Ximenez wine, a type of cask today difficult to find due to the costs, about 3 or 4 times higher than an American oak cask which is now much more used. The gradation is almost 60 degrees important because Alistair Walker has decided not to dilute with water, preferring to leave this possibility to those who will take care to try this bottle: remember that adding water to whisky it is an interesting process in terms of smell and taste but, unfortunately, sometimes irreversible
TASTE: intense and spicy, dried fruit and cocoa, dark chocolate and black pepper
AGING: in single barrel Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon

Finishing | European oak barrels ex Sherry Pedro Ximenez. |
AROMA | Abundant notes of sherry, cherry and dried red fruit, candied fruit, cocoa and hazelnut |
Cartoned | Si |
