Whisky James Eadie Blair Athol 12 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
James Eadie Blair Athol 12 Year Old is a whisky unique obtained from a single cask of whisky distilled in the Blair Athol distillery with a particularity, that is a final refinement of 13 months in a barrel that previously contained Amontillado Spanish Sherry. This final stay allows you to expand the olfactory and gustatory range of the whisky, combining more crunchy notes of dark red fruit, caramel and cocoa: in order not to miss anything James Eadie has seen fit to maintain the cask strength, without diluting with water, to allow this whisky to show itself exactly as it came out of the barrel.
James Eadie is an independent bottler who is now English but was born as a brewery in Scotland in the now distant 1854 and who in just a few decades has managed to create a fair amount of credibility even in the world of whisky, selecting and bottling casks from various Scottish distilleries. Today the whole world has changed but James Eadie's recipe for success is still the same: pursuit of the finest quality in the barrel.
