Whisky James Eadie Caol Ila 9 Year Old
700ml BOTTLE
James Eadie Caol Ila 9 Year Old is not the usual whisky of any independent bottler, but an exclusive selection for Italy, created from a single hand-selected cask by James Eadie, an independent Scottish bottler also based in London who has been responsible for creating whisky unique, according to your taste. In this case the whisky in the bottle comes from Caol Ila, the largest distillery on the island of Islay in Scotland, a sleeping giant that produces a large number of barrels of whisky mostly intended for their own bottlings which can be found in every corner of the world.
A small percentage of barrels is instead sold to independent bottlers who can select and purchase barrels according to specific characteristics and, at times, extend the refinement in the same barrel or in other types of wood. In this case James Eadie has selected for Italy a single barrel filled in 2011 and emptied in 2021, also maintaining the barrel strength to make the tasting even more intense.
