Bitter Jefferson Bitter Important
700ml BOTTLE
Jefferson was born in Calabria from the most secret recipes of Vecchio Magazzino Doganale. It's a whole story from its name to its complex structure. Every product from aromatic herbs to citrus fruits, from roots to various botanicals is literally grown right on the plots of land of the rural Vecchio Magazzino Doganale company. We can therefore say that they are zero kilometer products which make this Important rum rich by releasing all their aromas and essences. The preparation time for this amaro is 9 months, a time needed to carry out the various infusions at different degrees and then to assemble them when everything has reached its complete maturation. Usually the recipes for making these bitters are secret, in this case the distillery explicitly declares all the botanicals used. Here is the list: grapefruit, bitter orange, sweet orange, IGP lemons infused separately at 80°, absinthe, vanilla, bergamot infused separately at 40° and finally rosemary, gentian, rhubarb and eucalyptus infused at 43°. The final alcohol content is 30% vol and it is truly the best liqueur in the world, excellent drunk neat or mixed with cocktails.
