Kilchoman 16 Year Old Limited Edition is a whisky of certain interest, namely the oldest bottling ever proposed by the Kilchoman distillery, directly from the heart of the island of Islay, the Scottish homeland of whisky peated. Kilchoman was founded in 2005 and from that moment on it has never stopped, constantly renovating and expanding its facilities, giving the whole world the opportunity to experience excellent production quality, truly zero kilometer raw materials - that is, grown on the same property of the distillery. Today Kilchoman plays a heavy ace and reaches sixteen years of aging, the union of around twenty barrels distilled in 2006 and 2007 with a mix of aging in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry wood. What else to add? Great magic from a distillery to know and love.
