Kilchoman is an artisan distillery born in 2005 on the renowned Scottish island of Islay, thanks to Anthony Willis. The distillery, also known as the Farm Distillery, produces everything necessary for its guests whisky directly on site, in fact it is defined as a "From barley to bottle" production.

Loch Gorm is the name of Islay's largest freshwater lake, but it is also the name of the distillery's limited edition range; Loch Gorm is a single malt aged exclusively in European oak barrels that previously contained Sherry Oloroso from the renowned bodega Jose Miguel Martin. This maturation in Sherry confers an extraordinary aromatic and gustatory balance: the Sherry combines very well with the peaty notes of Kilchoman.

The 2022 edition comes from the selection of 22 casks, a combination of 20 first-fill casks and 2 refills. The whisky it is matured for a minimum of eight years before being bottled at 46% vol.

TASTE: Hints of dark chocolate and dried fruit, delicate smoked tobacco combined with notes of caramel and peat: Long finish, which evolves into spices and persistent smoke. 

AGING: European oak barrels ex Sherry Oloroso.
