700ml BOTTLE
Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength Limited Edition Release 2021 is the new limited edition for this Machi Bay in the full-grade version, i.e. without dilution with water but maintaining the original alcohol content of the barrels. Kilchoman is a rather recent distillery born on the island of Islay and in a few years it has managed to make its way among the giants of the same island thanks to a basically agricultural approach to distillation and the production of barley from which to distill the whisky, which is why the core range bottlings are highly valued and appreciated around the world. This bottling is an annual release and helps to better explain the world of Kilchoman, a rather peated malt that ages 90% in ex bourbon barrels and the remaining 10% in ex sherry barrels. The full strength guarantees an exciting drink from start to finish, being also able to dilute with a few drops of water to better explore this magnificent whisky.
TASTE: intense and peaty, citric and citrus notes, dried fruit and hot spices
AGING: in 90% ex bourbon and 10% ex sherry oak barrels

Finishing | American ex-Bourbon oak barrels and European ex-Sherry oak barrels |
