Kilchoman Sanaig is a bottling of the official line of Kilchoman which presents slightly different peculiarities from the other labels. Kilchoman is a small craft distillery on the island of Islay that has not yet turned twenty years of age, years in which - with great courage - the bottles of whisky of Kilchoman have begun to travel around the world capturing the attention of many fans. The mission of the distillery is to propose whisky different in conception from the other Islay proposals precisely for the artisanal and manual touch of each operation, managing the barrels with great intelligence and packaging whisky enjoyable and intense. In this case Kilchoman Sanaig is a whisky aged mainly in European oak barrels which previously contained Spanish sherry and 30% in traditional American oak ex bourbon barrels, precisely to give different characteristics to the taste, keeping the distinctive character of this great little distillery intact.

TASTE: spicy and smoky, peat and black pepper, bitter cocoa and caramel, dried fruit
