Whisky Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release 2021 The Lion's Fire


700ml BOTTLE

Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled on Islay by Lagavulin and aged for 12 years in American oak refill barrels. This whisky belongs to the "Legends Untold" range of Diageo's Special Releases 2021 and was bottled at the natural alcohol content of the cask of 56.5% vol.

TASTE: Sweet, with lemon acidity and a touch of sea salt combined with smoky notes; in the long finish, we have smoke with the heat of chilli. 

AGING: American oak refill barrels.

AROMA Fresh and maritime, with a vegetal character with mineral salts and a slight medicinal note; notes of cocoa and dried seaweed are hidden, with a hint of lemon zest. Ends in a salty sweetness mixed with wood smoke.
