Whisky Lambay Single Malt Cognac Cask Finish
700ml BOTTLE
Single Malt Irish Whiskey produced for Lambay Whiskey via a triple distillation from an unknown distillery; it is subsequently matured on the island of Lambay in French oak barrels that have contained Camus Cognac, which have been exposed to the sea air to absorb the salty scents. The water from Lambay's Trinity Well is added in the final finishing phase before being bottled without cold filtration at an alcohol content of 40% vol. The whiskey has no age indication.
TASTE: Notes of coconut and malt, with berries and dried fruit; in the finish persistent sweetness and green fruit.
AGING: French oak barrels ex Cognac.
