Laphroaig 33 Year Old The Ian Hunter Story Book 3 is a piece of history, a collector's bottle that will only become a symbol of one of the most iconic distilleries not only of the Scottish Isle of Islay, but of all Scotland of the whisky. Laphroaig is Prince Charles' favorite distillery who regularly visits, as well as stocks with abundant supplies. If royalty isn't enough to explain the myth of Laphroaig, the wonderful place where the production plant stands does: a dreamy little bay where you can lose track of time.
To get a little closer to Laphroaig without taking the plane here is Laphroaig 33 Year Old The Ian Hunter Story Book 3, not a simple whisky of Laphroaig but a limited series of only 4800 bottles, the third volume of the bottlings dedicated to Ian Hunter, one of the main architects of the qualitative and commercial success of the distillery. Having joined the company in 1908, Ian gave a decisive boost to the product whisky, so much so that it was defined as a "medicine" during the Prohibition period in order to be able to market it also in the United States.
