Loch Lomond 18 Year Old represents the highest point of the entire production of the Loch Lomond distillery, a company in the Scottish area of the Scottish Highlands responsible for a beautiful range of products that are also very different from each other, thanks to the productive peculiarities of this distillery. In fact, Loch Lomond is one of the few Scottish distilleries that can produce both at the same time whisky of wheat it is whisky of barley, the two main ingredients of the blended whisky, making the choice of the distiller and who will then go on to pack the whisky finals.
Loch Lomond has been operating without interruption since 1994, after overcoming a decade of closure and several changes of ownership, as often happens for distilleries with a large quantitative impact. Today Loch Lomond is building credibility among enthusiasts from all over the world: this 18-year-old wants to be a proposal with an exceptional quality/price ratio for a whisky aged for almost twenty years, an occasion that we would like to recommend.
TASTE: Wide and elegant, notes of hazelnut and custard, dried fruit and cereal biscuits, small berries and black bread. A touch of smoking emerges to make the palate even more personal.
