The Macallan Distillery was one of the first distilleries to make whisky in the Speyside region. It was also one of the first distilleries to mature its precious ones whisky in ex Sherry casks. Thanks to its history and the imports of products from all over the world, it ranks first among the best Scottish distilleries. 

Rare limited edition bottles are released annually, as in this case, in fact Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Cask belongs to Release 2022. Aged precisely 18 long years in ex Sherry Oloroso seasoned oak barrels, it transforms into a whisky rich with ripe raisin aromas and intense with a long lingering finish.
