Macallan 7 Year Old Maxxium Italia is a whisky vintage, that is, a bottle that we managed to find and that we decided to share with our most passionate customers. Macallan 7 Year Old Maxxium Italia is not a whisky like many others and above all it tells a story, namely the role of Italy within the global panorama of whisky from a few years ago. In fact, Macallan mainly bottled products without age declaration for the whole world and only for some countries did it dare to offer whisky with age on the label, between 7, 10 and 12 years. The Italian market was very strong and for this reason the Highland giant thought of proposing a whisky of seven years of aging, all seven in ex-sherry oak barrels from Jerez, Macallan's signature. Today these bottles are rare and above all they are collected by many, with a taste that is no longer repeated in the current bottles of Macallan, an ancient taste and of noble tradition, where the technical steps were entrusted to man and not, as today, to technology. A whisky nostalgic that will take the lucky owner back to fifty years ago, when the world - and the whisky - he was different. Good hunting.
