Whisky Mannochmore 1997 Gordon & Macphail
700ml BOTTLE
Mannochmore 1997 Gordon&Macphail is an independent bottling proposed by Gordon&Macphail, one of the oldest and most famous independent bottlers in Scotland. The Mannochmore distillery is not well known because within the portfolio of Diageo, a distillation and beverage giant in general, it has been preferred to give prestige to other names, relegating this and other distilleries to a supporting role in the creation of the many blended of the group. The opportunity is therefore tempting and for this reason the independent bottlers prefer to put on the market whisky coming from little-known distilleries, just to give the enthusiast the opportunity to taste and appreciate whisky less known. In this case the aging is 22 years in a single barrel – number 12098 – which previously contained Spanish sherry. The strength has remained unchanged to deliver the exact purity of the whisky.
