The distillery began its rum production in the early 700s. in 1703. The whole range of Mount gay products aims for excellence for its English-style rums. A production still today based on the use of traditional and certainly historical stills of the company. 

Mount Gay Eclipse rum is the clear example of the blending of rums aged in ex-barrelswhisky American charred. An important peculiarity that gives the rums those marked but not overwhelming toasted notes. All the rums used by the Mount Gay company come from Barbados and are produced from the fermentation of the "Black Gold" molasses typical of the Caribbean countries. Exceptional blends with a quality of both molasses and pure water that distinguishes them from the rest of the territory's cheap rums.

TASTE: Very balanced, sweet and woody notes at the same time. Long and persistent finish

AGING: Charred oak barrels whiskey American
