Nikka Miyagikyo Rum Wood Finish is a whisky Japanese limited edition, created to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the foundation of Velier, the Italian company that deals with the distribution of the Japanese brand (and not only) on Italian territory. Luca Gargano - owner of Velier - is one of the world's leading rum experts and has decided to combine his passion with the classic whisky of superfine elegance by Miyagikyo, trying to make a contribution in terms of taste-olfactory breadth. In fact, ex-rum barrels are rather difficult to manage because, if not followed properly by expert palates, there is a risk of affecting the whisky and to exasperate the typical notes of the Caribbean distillate. In this case, being able to count on some of the greatest aging experts in the world, Luca Gargano was able to select and combine some excellent Miyagikyo barrels and created a whisky unique, peculiar, collectible and pure satisfaction.
