This Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled on the coasts of the town of Oban, it is part of the Diageo "Legends Untold" collection of the Special Release 2021. It is released at the natural alcohol content of 56.2% vol after 12 years of maturation in freshly charred American oak barrels; the resulting result is a whisky easy to drink from the classic understated style of Oban.
TASTE: Soft and enveloping, with a fruity and slightly citrusy taste, balanced by a pinch of salt and a spiciness coming from freshly burned barrels. Great balance between the spice of the wood and the fresh and fruity character of the distillery. In the long finish we still have a pinch of pepper.
AGING: Newly charred American oak barrels.
