Octomore Edition 10.2 8 Year Old is one of whisky most Torbati in the world, a project that began as pure experimentation but which today represents another important voice of the whisky of Islay, the home of the whisky maritime and peaty. Jim McEwan is one of the most important characters of the whisky Scottish and worldwide, master distiller of Bruichladdich, and years ago he had the idea of this project called Octomore, a hyper-peated version of Bruichladdich's malt with refinements often and willingly in peculiar barrels. After a few years of tests and trials, the Octomore line has become an integral part of Bruichladdich and of all of Scotland, thanks to products that are peaty but also of high intensity and a certain class, despite the clearly visible muscles.
